As part of the Liverpool City Region’s “Missing Links” initiative, CMS Surveys carried out topographical, utility, and desktop search surveys across 11 locations. Working with SCP Transport Planners, the aim was to provide feasibility data for new cycle routes designed to improve connectivity and promote sustainable transport.
Our surveys delivered detailed mapping of each location, including underground utility data, ground levels, and surface features. This allowed planners to identify constraints, assess safe design options, and evaluate viability across the network.
By providing accurate data upfront, CMS Surveys enabled SCP to move forward with proposals supported by evidence, helping shape safer, more sustainable travel routes for the city.
