Howdens Manufacturing Plant Expansion

CMS Surveys supported Caddick Construction in the expansion of Howdens’ manufacturing facility in Runcorn. We undertook a package of surveys, including topographical, utility, and desktop searches, to provide a full picture of the site’s layout and existing service infrastructure.

Our data gave the design team confidence to plan the facility’s extension, ensuring that underground constraints were identified early and that the project could move forward without costly surprises. The combination of surface mapping and buried service information proved critical in supporting both feasibility and safe delivery.

This work highlights how accurate survey data enables contractors like Caddick to progress complex industrial projects efficiently and safely.
