Flood Alleviation Scheme

As part of a flood alleviation programme, CMS Surveys carried out topographical and utility surveys of riverbanks and surrounding areas in Didsbury. The surveys were designed to capture precise levels and features, particularly following storm events, to confirm the integrity of existing defences.

Our mapping provides engineers with a reliable dataset to monitor changes, assess risks, and ensure that the scheme continues to protect homes and businesses. By combining surface detail with buried utility mapping, CMS delivered information critical to both immediate maintenance and long-term resilience planning.
